धरती हमारी माता है,

माता को प्रणाम करो 

बनी रहे इसकी सुंदरता, 

ऐसा भी कुछ काम करो ।

आओ हम सब मिलजुल कर ,

इस धरती को ही स्वर्ग बना दे 

नैतिक जिम्मेदारी समझ कर,

नैतिकता से कम करें 

गंदगी ना फैला इस भूमि पर 

मां को ना बदनाम करो, 

कुदरत ने जो दिया धारा को 

उसका सब सम्मान करो 

ना छेड़ो इन उफरो को, 

ना कोई बड़ा काम करो। 

धरती हमारी माता है, 

माता को प्रणाम करो ।।

A Labyrinth of Pages

8th A

Once I opened a book,

And looked inside it,

For I found nothing,

Quite amusing inside it.

But when I leafed through its pages,

I did not know how, 

Time passed so swiftly!

It made me feel like, 

I was trapped inside it,

And reading it for ages.

This was no tale of friendly gazes, 

Just endless words and boring phrases. 

But when I had to go somewhere, 

And leave it out of my sight,

I felt like I was leaving,

A precious thing behind.

I came back,

And picked up the book,

And reading it, 

I was feeling shook!

It had so many twists 

 And puzzles to uncover,

It made me a book lover.

And then I flipped over the book, 

Just to see its beautiful name,

Seeing the name, I was amazed!

For it was the same book, the same thing

I did not find amusing!

जब दीप जले

अंधेरों में जब दीप जले,

स्वप्न पुराने सच में ढले।

जंजीरें टूटीं, खुली दिशा,

भारत बोला — “अब मैं स्वतंत्र!”

तिरंगा लहराया नभ के पार,

गूंज उठा हर दिल, हर द्वार।

हर रंग कहे एक कहानी,

बलिदानों की अमर निशानी।

कभी किसी ने सीना दिया,

कभी किसी ने वंदे कहा।

धरती ने पीड़ा सह ली सारी,

फिर खिली स्वतंत्रता की क्यारी।

गंगा बोले, पवन सुनाए,

साहस की अमर गाथा गाए।

हर बालक के मन में ये बात,

स्वतंत्रता की रखनी है लाज।

मां भारती तू अमर रहे,

तेरा मान सदा अटल रहे।

आज़ादी केवल उत्सव नहीं,

जीवन का सबसे सुंदर प्रण है य
